ScholarMind
The AI library in your pocket. Free NCERT books rewritten to be a joy to read, an AI that answers from the book with the exact page, quizzes, flashcards and games — running fully on the phone, no internet needed after download.
Class-10 library live · coming to Google Play as a closed pilot
Works offline
The AI runs on the phone. On the bus, the night before an exam, data finished — it still answers.
Cited to the book
Every answer points to the exact printed page of the NCERT book — or your own material. Checkable, not a black box.
Free library
The NCERT library, quizzes, flashcards and games are free. Your study material never leaves the phone.

What it is
Travelling with no signal, revising the night before an exam, data pack finished — and generic AI doesn’t know the syllabus, can’t show a source, and needs the internet anyway. ScholarMind closes that gap: download your class’s books once, then read, ask, quiz and play — with every answer pulled from the book itself, cited to the printed page, entirely offline.
1 · A library that reads beautifully
- Free NCERT books. Class-10 Science, History and Civics are live — rewritten into clean, readable chapters with the book’s own figures, not scanned PDFs. More chapters and classes are being added continuously.
- Read like a book, not a scan. Real sections, highlighted key terms, figures where they belong, and your reading position remembered.
- Quizzes & flashcards. Practice questions with per-option explanations that cite the page, and spaced-repetition cards that resurface ideas right before you’d forget them.
2 · Ask anything — cited to the page
- Ask the book. Plain-language questions answered by an AI running on the phone, grounded in the chapter, with a footnote citing the exact printed page.
- Hindi or English. Ask in your language and get the answer in it — same grounding, same citation.
- Snap a doubt. Point the camera at a question and ask about it.
- Ask a YouTube video. Paste a link and ask about what it says.
- Your own material. Import PDFs and notes and ask across them too.
3 · Play, together
- Hot Seat. A KBC-style quiz ladder over the chapter you just read.
- Daily Challenge. Ten quick questions a day to keep the streak alive.
- Play with friends. Open a room on the same Wi-Fi — no internet — and race a chapter’s quiz; last one standing wins.
Free to study, one small pass for more
The library, reading, quizzes, games and daily free questions cost nothing — the library is never locked. A Season Pass (₹499 one-time, valid for the school year) unlocks unlimited asking, your own PDFs and notes, Snap-a-doubt, YouTube questions and hosting friend rooms.
Built on our on-device engine
ScholarMind runs on litertlm-kmp — Urja Labs’ Kotlin Multiplatform engine for running Gemma-class LLMs fully on-device, the same stack behind NativeLM. That’s what makes the offline, private, page-grounded experience possible.
Be an early tester
We’re inviting a small group of students to the first Google Play pilot — they get the app first and shape what we build next. The survey takes 2 minutes.
Honest note: this is an early pilot. The reader, cited Ask, quizzes, flashcards, the games (solo and over local Wi-Fi), Snap-a-doubt, YouTube questions and Hindi answers are all working on real devices. The Class-10 library is live and growing chapter by chapter; more classes follow.
